Amal is an excellent nutritionist. I went to her for a consultation last March, because I needed help to improve my general health and because I wanted to target my osteopenia diagnosed 10 years ago and caused by cancer. We went through an hour's consultation with many questions and she explained everything in detail about how to improve my diet, the importance of including more proteins and calcium, and having more regular sleeping hygiene, and she also recommended me to do DEXA scan to measure my bone density level and check for suspected osteoporosis. The initial protocol she gave me was great: after the first week, I had better sleep at night, and no waking up I ditched my bad habit of snacking on biscuits because my meals were more balanced and complete. Regular breakfast helps keep my energy level stable through the morning till lunch. She kept checking on my improvement and it was the support I needed to keep me motivated. I went back to her for two more follow-ups and the last one with the test results showing that my osteopenia had become osteoporosis. She adjusted my protocol to my needs; by adding specific diet recommendations and supplements to improve my bone density, for instance she really helped find easy ways to increase my daily protein and calcium intake that worked with my daily life and commitments.
